The MBCA Best of Maryland Basketball Tournament

...is a premier event and one of the top basketball recruiting tournaments in the country. The tournament is an invite only event, hosting 20 - 22 of the highest ranking high school teams from all over the United States, with college referees officiating every game. This year's tournament will be held exclusively in 2 air-conditioned collegiate gyms (Frederick Community College and Hood College in Frederick, Maryland). Most years, more than 100 college coaches are in attendance to scout for talent at the Best of Maryland Basketball Tournament. This year, scouting will be available to colleges both in-person and via live streaming (D1).

To date, hundreds of players in the previous 23 years have gone on to receive collegiate basketball scholarships. The tournament staff has even had the pleasure of welcoming back many former tournament players who have gone on to become college coaches themselves.
